JIT Receives Honor at National Event

March 10, 2005 — At a national Toyota dealer event in Scottsdale Arizona Jamestown Industrial Trucks was awarded two Excellence Awards, one in Parts and one in Sales, and Toyota’s newly created Silver Circle Award.

Joyce Schwob, General Manager, accepts the Silver Circle award on behalf of the company.

The Parts Excellence Award honors Toyota Industrial Equipment dealerships and parts managers for demonstrating superior performance in the areas of parts purchases, operations and training. JIT is one of just 28 dealerships to earn this award.

The Sales Excellence Award honors Toyota Industrial Equipment dealerships and sales managers for demonstrating superior performance in the areas of sales performance, operational efficiency and personnel management. Among other criteria, winners must have a retail order market share at or above the national average. 30 Dealerships earned this award.

The President’s Award is Toyota’s highest honor. It recognizes an elite group of 15 dealers for the highest levels of excellence in all areas of the dealership’s operations. While we didn’t win the President’s Award, we did win the newly created Silver Circle Award which is bestowed on TIE dealers that demonstrate exemplary performance in their pursuit of the President’s Award. It recognizes those dealers that have achieved high marks in all areas of their dealership’s operations as rising leaders of Toyota and future contenders for the coveted President’s Award.

The dealership performance was measured in the following areas; Sales, Service, Parts, Customer Satisfaction, Facilities, Financial, Customer Service Support for the period of Jan 1, 2004 to Dec 31, 2004.
